We are a congregation of all ages with a range of faith understandings Looking for a passionate and engaging individual who is excited to lead our congregation in worship. This person will be a song leader for online and in person worship services, will help to develop our band, and will be responsible for organizing a group of volunteers who put together a continually improving worship experience. Responsibilities: This person will: -Be part of planning and rehearsing of music and worship, so that it can be prepared and professional -Lead parts of worship, including singing, instrumental accompaniment, some prayers, announcements, and more as required -Collaborate with the pastor, the technical volunteers, and other musicians in creating a complete worship experience. Requirements/qualifications: -Musical ability (assessed by audition), emphasizing singing, ability on a song-leading instrument (guitar or piano) and music reading. -A history of affinity with both contemporary and historical Christian music and hymns
