We are a large ecommerce retailer of print & office supply products (a $17Bn industry) in the US & Canada with offices in Newark, CA & Austin, TX. What we are looking for:

An intern graphic designer to work closely with our design team, creating and maintaining marketing material assets. This is an on-site position and will require the candidate to be in the office a minimum of 2 full days a week (8 hours per day).

Responsibilities:

• Work with design team to produce various graphic design projects which include but are not limited to digital banners, social media, product photography, email and site assets
• Follow design guidelines to create design assets that is consistent and aligns with our company branding and production standards
• Photograph products for creative design purpose
• Create final images of the product shoots.
• Photo editing, retouching, removing backgrounds, image adjustments, photo manipulation, superimposing into other photos, etc.
• Manage project schedule to meet campaign deadlines and cross-team needs.
• Maintain organization and inventory of assets produced
• Participate in regular sync-ups, critiques, and creative meetings

Qualifications:

• Experience in working with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop and/or Lightroom
• Knowledge in product photography and photographic manipulation
• Basic graphic design knowledge of color theory, typography, photo treatment, and file handling
• Able to work well in a team environment
• Able to work independently without direct supervision
• Experience in web design is a plus
