    Job Description

    Work with uninsured population w/Government programs

    Knowledge of Medi-Cal and Indigent programs

    Knowledge of Third Party programs helpful ,i.e., ( CalVCP, WC, TPR, INS,, SSI)

    Computer literate (Microsoft Office) etc.

    High School Diploma or equivalent with some college preferred and/or 2-4 years experience in the healthcare industry.

    Employee must be able to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities without missing deadlines.

    Ability to effectively communicate in a professional and accurate manner with patients. Internal staff, in all written and

    verbal communication. (Bilingual Spanish).

    Good understanding of hospitals and the healthcare industry

    Ability to work independently, must have excellent time management skills

    Interview patient’s for third party linkages

    Secure third party applications for all potential linked patients

    Responsible for managing a portfolio for third party eligibility/recovery

    Assist staff with resolving and monitoring Client Support Memorandums.
