Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. Home Helpers Home Care has been providing exceptional comprehensive home care services for over 25 years. If you are new to caregiving and are looking to provide companion care to someone in need, then this is the position for you. This is an excellent way to get started in providing in home care if you have flexibility.

We are hiring a reliable Caregiver for companion care in Rockville, MD (20851). Schedule is Monday and Wednesday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM. Duties include companionship, standby assistance, ensuring safety, and driving to appointments/errands. Must have a driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be comfortable with 3 cats. Immediate start.

Qualifications:

• Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current CNA license
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
• Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
• Companionship
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
• Assist with medication reminders
• Assist with ambulation
• Monitor BP and glucose levels
