Job Summary We are seeking a Companion Caregiver to join our team! At Butterfly Stages of Life Care, we operate with a "serve first" philosophy, treating every client like family and emphasizing dignity in all we do. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care (prep, reminders, and/or supervision), light housekeeping and errands, medication reminders, and other tasks that improve the client's living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and conversation

Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing (prep/supervision)

Conduct safety checkpoints throughout the home

Prepare meals and snacks

Perform light housekeeping activities

Provide medication reminders

Assist with errands and shopping

Educate family members on safe care techniques

Accompany clients to medical appointments and community events

Advocate when needed and take detailed notes for future appointments

Qualifications

CNA Certified

Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role preferred

First Aid and CPR certified

Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills

Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong documentation skills and detail-oriented
