Job Summary
CareAge HomeCare is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support for seniors and adults in Temple, Belton, Bell County, and surrounding areas. Duties may include personal care, homemaking, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, safety monitoring, and adherence to a written care plan.
We are looking for caregivers who are reliable, respectful, patient, and willing to serve with integrity. Flexible schedules may be available, including daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, part-time, full-time, and PRN shifts.
What You’ll Do:
Caregivers may assist clients with:
Personal Care:
Bathing, showering, sponge baths, and hygiene support
Dressing and grooming
Toileting and incontinence care
Mobility assistance and transfers, as appropriate
Meal preparation and feeding assistance
Medication reminders only, as allowed by agency policy and Texas PAS guidelines
Homemaking:
Light housekeeping
Laundry and linen changes
Kitchen clean-up
Dishes
Trash removal
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and general tidying
Grocery list support or errands, depending on the care plan
Companionship and Safety Support:
Conversation and emotional support
Monitoring client comfort and safety
Reporting changes in condition, behavior, mood, or environment
Following the client’s service plan/care plan
Maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality
Communicating with the office when concerns arise

Minimum Requirements: Previous caregiving experience is preferred. Applicants must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have a valid photo ID
Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Be able to pass a background check
Have reliable transportation
Have a working phone for communication and scheduling
Be physically able to perform caregiving duties, including standing, walking, bending, light housekeeping, and assisting clients as needed
Be willing to complete the required onboarding, orientation, and training
Preferred Experience: Experience in any of the following is helpful:
In-home care
Personal assistance services
Dementia or Alzheimer’s care
Private duty caregiving
CNA experience
Family caregiving experience
