Position Overview

Avail Health & Behavioral Solutions is seeking compassionate and dependable Companion Providers to support individuals in the community. This role focuses on supervision, social engagement, assistance with daily living activities, and community integration.

The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and committed to providing respectful, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and supervision in the home and community

Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation

Support clients with errands and community outings

Encourage social interaction and engagement

Monitor client safety and well-being

Document services provided accurately and timely

Communicate effectively with supervisors and care teams

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Minimum 1 year of caregiving or healthcare experience preferred

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Ability to pass Level 2 background screening

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor

Preferred Skills

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health needs

Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to work independently

Flexible availability
