Job Description

Compass Government Solutions is currently hiring a Primary Care Physician, pending award, for a role at Fayetteville VA Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC to study, diagnose, and treat illnesses, injuries, and other ailments for our veterans.

Job Requirements of the Primary Care Physician:

• Preventing, diagnosing, and treating a broad array of illnesses and injuries
• Performing diagnostic tests and procedures such as physical exams, blood tests, x-rays, MRIs, and CT scans to identify medical problems and make diagnoses
• Reviewing test results with other Physicians to ensure correct diagnoses
• Coordinating with various specialists and tend to foster long-term relationships with their patients
• Providing health promotion, prevention, and education to patients

Qualifications

Qualifications of the Primary Care Physician:

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited program in the United States or Canada
• Current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physician from a state, territory or Commonwealth
• Board Certification to Practice as a Primary Care Physician
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
