Compass Healthcare Consulting & placement is conducting a search for an Authorizations Specialist for a Home Health Care Agency in Brooklyn, NY. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Coordinator or Intake Specialist to get in with a great company! Qualified candidates will have prior Authorizations or Intake Coordination experience within a Home Healthcare Agency, will understand the process and procedures of a Home Healthcare Agency. Qualified candidates will have prior Authorizations or Intake Coordinator experience and using HHA Exchange Program.

AUTHORIZATIONS SPECIALIST

Qualifications:

• Experienced with HHA Exchange Program
• Experienced with Insurance Verification and Authorizations Process
• Experienced with Licensed Home Healthcare Agency Policy & Procedure
• Must have prior Authorizations or Intake and Home Care Coordinating Experience (Not an RN)
• Experience working in a LHCSA, CHHA, MLTC or Home Care Related Field
• Must be Bilingual Spanish or Bilingual Russian

Job Responsibilities:

• Insurance Verification and Authorization Process
• Coordinating Home Health Aide Services & Schedules
• Collaborating with Case Managers, RNs and Staff
• Completing referral information required for Intake
• Other related tasks.
• Intake Experience and Skills required.
