Job Description
Position Title: Full-Time / On-Call Caregiver (Hybrid Caregiver & Office Support)
Location: Humble, TX
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week required availability
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, flexible caregiver who is available for a minimum of 30 hours per week and willing to serve in a dual role supporting both client care and office operations. This position is ideal for a caregiver who desires consistent hours while also being available to assist with last-minute or unfilled client shifts.
When not assigned to client care, the caregiver will report to the office to assist with administrative and operational support as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Client Care Responsibilities
• Provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care to clients
• Accept and cover last-minute or unfilled shifts as needed
• Assist with ADLs, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship
• Follow care plans and document services accurately
• Maintain professionalism and reliability in all client interactions
On-Call Coverage
• Remain available during scheduled hours for assignment to urgent or uncovered shifts
• Respond promptly to scheduling communications
• Maintain readiness to report to client homes as needed
Office Support Responsibilities (when not on client shift)
• Answer incoming calls and assist with basic inquiries
• Support scheduling team with administrative tasks
• File paperwork, organize caregiver files, and assist with office organization
• Assist with orientation preparation, supply organization, and general office needs
Qualifications
• Active CNA or experienced caregiver preferred
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel to client homes on short notice
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Professional demeanor and ability to multitask
• Comfortable working both in client homes and an office setting
Schedule Expectations
• Minimum availability of 30 hours per week required
• Must be willing to accept assignments on short notice
• Must be able to report to the office when not on client assignment
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role requiring time in both client homes and the office environment.
Pay range: $15-$18/h based on experience
