We’re currently hiring caregivers in Merrillville and the surrounding areas, including Porter and Lake County, IN, to provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and individuals who need assistance with daily living. You’ll play an essential role in helping our clients live independently, safely, and with dignity.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and transfers (as outlined in the Plan of Care)

Provide mobility support (e.g., walker, wheelchair)

Offer companionship and emotional support

Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation

Provide medication reminders (no administration)

Observe and report changes in condition or behavior

Use our mobile app to clock in/out, record care notes, and communicate

Follow infection control protocols and agency procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

1+ year of caregiving experience preferred (home care, assisted living, etc.)

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance

Must pass a national background check

TB test required

Professional, dependable, and compassionate

Comfortable using a mobile app for work-related communication

Position Details:

Position Type: PRN, Part-time, or Full-time

Schedule: Flexible (day, evening, weekend)

FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly

Location: Merrillville, IN and surrounding areas, Lake and Porter County, IN

Reports To: Staffing Coordinator
