    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Competitive Range works in partnership with the government to plan and deploy complex, IT-enabled and mission essential capabilities.     The candidate will work as part of a multifunctional/multitalented team providing leadership to address and management complex acquisition related challenges. In aggregate, the team renders acute acquisition, program management, and technology-focused support to the Government. The program supported by the candidate facilitates the exchange of ideas and provides a means for the Government to formally express needs to its industry partners in an ethical and competitive environment. This is done principally through formal RFI's and RFP's. The program makes addressing needs possible through a highly efficient procurement lifecycle automation platform.

    This candidate will be focused on the coordination, implementation, and management of technology services acquisitions and support junior members to develop their own acquisition management skills and abilities. The candidate will be responsible for contract actions. These actions will include but will not be limited to supporting development of IGCE's, acquisition strategies, acquisition plans, source selections plans, and other related documents including PWS's.

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for contract actions. This includes awards, maintaining files, and responding in an informed and timely fashion to contractual questions and request for assistance. 
    • Draft various contract documents, including budgets and memos necessary to execute contracts and contract modifications for assigned actions.  Ensure that all reports are accurate, complete, and timely
    • Monitor and track upcoming contractual actions and deadlines.  
    • Interact regularly with customers and member agencies to resolve contractual issues. 
    • Assists COR with contract document acceptances and reviews
    • Analyze contractual requirements, special provisions, and legal terms and conditions to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) and business unit procedures

     

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

    8 years of related experience working if federal government procurement.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in any field that included or was supplemented by; at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management is required.
