    DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 

    As a highly visible member of the team embedded directly with our customer, the logistics analyst will support the Department of Defense (DoD)  provide tactical users remote access to the Defense Information Switched Network (DISN). The customer requires operational and technical subject matter expert support, consistent with established commercial and government standards, concerning telecommunications systems integration, implementation, configuration management, logistics, and program management within CONUS and overseas areas of operations. 

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Develop, maintain, and update Logistics documentation for DoD portfolio.

    Maintain property and inventory across customers sites, labs, and the joint laboratory.

    Develop required logistics documentation necessary to transport equipment custody and ownership (e.g., DD1149, DD1150, Equipment Movement Forms, DA4949, etc.)

    Perform Property Custodian (PC) duties in accordance with current Property Management policies and instructions, and IAW Policy 270-165-8 Accountability and Internal Controls for DoD equipment, and subsequent updates (e.g., catalogue equipment into cognizant property book, update property book information for equipment ownership and location, perform DRMO and excess to properly remove equipment from DoD property book) Monitor Government property that is hand receipted from the Government Property Book and accounted for in DPAS. 

    Report and initiate financial loss and investigation of property loss (FLIPL) reports where losses or suspected losses of property is known in accordance with DISA Instruction 270-165-9, and subsequent updates.  

    Perform annual DoD property audits for Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) accountable Government property and non-accountable program property. Government property is to be inventoried 100% annually. The contractor will follow procedure for transition of responsibilities and verification of physical inventory for property the PC will be responsible.

    Provide Logistics and Sparing inventory reports.

    Track and manage warranties, hardware maintenance contracts, and software licenses to maintain cognizance of end-of-life support and renewals.

    Track and identify the need for end-of-life replacement and assist engineering SMEs with refresh planning.

    Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) for equipment repair/replacement.

    Support program procurement requests through requirements analysis, vendor loaner programs, engineering laboratory testing, market research/source selection, and vendor procured maintenance contracting. 

    Work with equipment vendors to provide product loaner support through DoD Product Loaner Agreement approval processes and DPAS policy requirements. 

    Provide equipment shipment oversight and support for new procurements, installations, technical refresh, and RMA replacement. 

    Coordinate logistics from warehouse storage locations to install sites, obtain relevant property book point of contacts to ensure timely transfers between DoD and other government organizations. 

    Actively participate in transition of service operations to DoD Enterprise Management (e.g., ESGS)

    Provide logistics support including tracking of spares.

    Any change to contractor personnel performing these duties will be communicated to the Program Manager (PM) and provide 45 days advance notice, or as soon as known. 

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must possess an active Secret Clearance

    4-7 years of life cycle logistics experience 

    Experience supporting a major DoD related automated information system or acquisition program, or demonstrated experience with a comparable non-DoD position 

    Must have experience with DPAS system

    Experience with working in a highly collaborative and team environment 

    Experience with MS office products

    Previous experience interacting/working with military service and civilian DoD staff a plus

    Undergraduate degree in technical, scientific, or managerial field preferred
