    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Competitive Range works in partnership with the government to plan and deploy complex, IT-enabled and mission essential capabilities. The candidate will drive business development across a diverse set of GWACS. The candidate will be responsible for directly cultivating value added teaming arrangements predicated on trust and mutual success. The candidate will directly drive solution-oriented sales strategies by leveraging a multifaceted team of account managers, engineers, and technical writers. Ultimately the Business Development Executive will be responsible for channeling organization core values of ethics, professionalism, and technical outcomes to both the customer base and strategic partner community.

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Duties include, but not limited to contributing to an existing business development strategy as well as manage and report on the execution of said strategy. The Business Development Executive will develop a prioritized pipeline of opportunities to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, and in person meetings. Develop and maintain customer understanding and relationships, identify and develop relationships with strategic teaming partners for upcoming opportunities. Capture key customer and competitive knowledge. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including other business development and capture team members, client executives, proposal managers, corporate infrastructure departments and program management teams to ensure effective, efficient and integrated implementation. 

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 

    10 years of related experience, Experience working with an array of DoD and VA customers, Experience driving award of Task Order on IDIQ's. The versatility and initiative to identify new business opportunities and move captures from initiation, proposal, and contract transition. Strong interpersonal skills-oral, written, and listening are crucial. Initiative, high energy, and passion for developing new business. Ability to effectively communicate with customers. Highly desirable. Demonstrated success with business development on Contract Vehicles such as OASIS, Alliant Small Business, CIOSP3, and 8(a) STARS II. Experience leading BD and Capture efforts. 

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    A 4 year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in any field that included or was supplemented by; at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: business,law,contracts,economics,ororganization development and management is required.
