    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    CRS requires the expertise of a talented and experienced Intermediate Network Administrator to provide Enterprise Information Technology (IT) Services and Support for the U.S. Army Military Surface Deployment & Distribution Command (SDDC), a component of the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), under the SDDC Enterprise Information Technology Services Support (SEITS) effort. This requirement is contingent upon award of the SEITS contract to CRS.

    The candidate must reference their ability and experience in working in a Department of Defense (DoD) customer environment and effective integration with a government multi-contractor team.   To be considered for hire, the candidate must have a relevant and recent track record for supporting the SDDC or USTRANSCOM.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Candidates for the Intermediate Network Administrator position will be required to satisfy the following: 

    • Manages personnel and technology systems delivering information assurance policy, planning and technical support for government mission critical applications for on-premise and GovCloud platforms.

    • Responsible for complex on-site and remote networks, information security assessment, network operations, systems software support, and production support activities. 

    • Thoroughly understands and can implement, assess and monitor DoD Risk Management Framework (DoD 8510.01) controls, strategies, standards and policies, ensuring all information systems are functional and secure.

    • Works independently and is responsive to Lead Network Administrator direction.

    • Applies know-how to government and commercial network systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.

    • Manages classified and unclassified network systems including NIPR/SIPR/JRSS VRF/GovCloud.

    • Provides network administration support in the categories of Firewall, Proxy, Network and Access Control equipment.

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 

    Recent experience with USTRANSCOM or SDDC in the following areas:

    • Successful experience supporting technical teams in the DoD USTRANSCOM or SDDC environment.

    • Experience managing government data center network systems and management of migration from on-premise to GovCloud or FedRAMP services.

    • Successful experience leading technical teams delivering multiple complex IT projects.

    • Recent experience implementing DoD Cyber Security Risk Management Framework controls, strategies and standards.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    A 2-year course of study leading to an associate degree in any technical or business field followed by over three years of progressive DoD information technology experience with recent knowledge and experience of program level and command level information security work.
