JOB DESCRIPTION: Support software development tasks in Windows and Web development environments. Provide programming support and develop error free application code. Troubleshoot technical issues, including error messages, bugs with the software, and availability.  

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This candidate will be relied upon to maintain and sustain software, tools, applications, servers, interfaces and databases for web-based applications. Support will include development of new applications based on requirements and creating tools to enhance security, accuracy and availability of services in a customer-facing role. The candidate will be required to develop and document novel functions, implement libraries, frameworks and best practices; resolving errors and security vulnerabilities; tracking and applying updates. A candidate with experience and working knowledge in Visual Studios 2017/2019 with C#, HTML, Javascript and CSS. Amazon AWS and services such as ServiceNow, MS TEAMS, JIRA, Artifactory, Gitlab, Fortify, RDP and Citrix VDIs. 

    SKILLS:

    • Team development skills required 
    • Windows System Administration 
    • SQL Database Administration 
    • Configuration Management 
    • Programming experience 
    • Hardware maintenance support for vendor specific servers, raid configuration, connectivity ro the switch, and componment troubleshooting, repair, and replacement 
    • Software maintenance installation and support of Windows servers, Linux servers hosting VM Ware, VM setup and support, Internet Information Server setup and configuration, server cluster setup and configuration, server updates to current patch level, hardening system to IA standards. 
    • Knowledge of full software development life cycle (SDLC), agile development methods and DevOps processes.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 4 total years of experience
    • Certifications: IAWIP Level, IAT Level II (Security + or equivalent) 
    • Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) 
    • Demonstrated track record of success at IT projects that meet business requirements and customer expectations

    EXPERIENCE: 5 year's experience
