DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
The candidate will work as part of a multifunctional/multitalented post award team. In aggregate, the team renders acute acquisition, program management, and technology-focused support to both the Government as well as its end users. The program supported by the candidate facilitates the exchange of ideas and provides a means for the Government to formally express needs to its industry partners in an ethical and competitive environment. The program makes addressing those needs possible through a highly efficient procurement lifecycle automation platform. The multifunctional team coupled with the above noted technology platform enable our customer to succinctly engage industry and obtain goods and services with unparalleled efficiency.
This candidate will be focused on full lifecycle contracting with an emphasis on post award contracting actions. This includes but is not limited to the coordination, implementation, and management of invoicing, modifications, price negotiations, and other related actions on major acquisitions. The candidate may also perform administrative processing of routine contractual actions. These actions will include supporting development of IGCE's, acquisition strategies, acquisition plans, source selections plans, and other related documents including PWS's.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in any field that included or was supplemented by; at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management is required.
