Role and Responsibilities:

The candidate must provide acquisition, procurement, program, funding, and advice to a multifunctional team. The candidate will have advisory experience. The candidate must have experience preforming normal workloads while also providing advisory experience on more complex contract actions. The candidate must have experience performing, coordinating, and advising on simultaneous Federal procurements. The candidate must have experience providing detailed written analysis and advice to contracting officers, as well as preparing draft contract documentation, including solicitations, SOWs, IGCEs, evaluation plans, award decision memoranda, cost/price analysis, and contract administration documentation. The candidate must lead junior team members, teach and mentor those junior team members through on the job training, company supported training, and formal training.
Qualifications:
A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in any field that included or was supplemented by; at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management is required.

DAWIA Level 3, FAC-C Level 3, or other federal government agency issued Level 3 Certification. Alternatively, a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification issued by National Contract Management Association (NCMA) or Certified Professional Supply Management (CPSM) issued by Institute for Supply Management (ISM) will be accepted, if at least five (5) years of Contracting Officer Level 3 experience is demonstrated.
