    The candidate will work as part of a multifunctional/multitalented team. In aggregate, the team renders acute acquisition, program management, and technology-focused support to both the Government as well as its end users. The program supported by the candidate facilitates the exchange of ideas and provides a means for the Government to formally express needs to its industry partners in an ethical and competitive environment. The program makes addressing those needs possible through a highly efficient procurement lifecycle automation platform. The multifunctional team coupled with the above noted technology platform enable our customer to succinctly engage industry and obtain goods and services with unparalleled efficiency.

     

     

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for administrative tasks related to awards from maintaining files, responding in an informed and timely fashion to contractual questions and request for assistance. This includes demonstrating an appropriate sense of urgency when responding to internal and external customer requests
    • Draft all contract documents, including budgets and memos necessary to execute contracts and contract modifications for assigned actions.  Ensure that all reports are accurate, complete, and timely
    • Monitor and track upcoming contractual actions and deadlines.  
    • Interact regularly with customers and member agencies to resolve contractual issues. 
    • Assists COR with PRISM and KSN acceptances and reviews
    • Analyze contractual requirements, special provisions, and legal terms and conditions to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) and business unit procedures
    • Lead cohesion across a multifunctional team.

     

    Desired Experience:

    The candidate must provide acquisition, procurement, program, funding, and advice to a multifunctional team. The candidate will have advisory experience. The candidate must have experience preforming normal workloads while also providing advisory experience on more complex contract actions. The candidate must have experience performing, coordinating, and advising on simultaneous Federal procurements. The candidate must have experience providing detailed written analysis and advice to contracting officers, as well as preparing draft contract documentation, including solicitations, SOWs, IGCEs, evaluation plans, award decision memoranda, cost/price analysis, and contract administration documentation. The candidate must lead junior team members, teach and mentor those junior team members through on the job training, company supported training, and formal training.

     

     

    Qualifications:

    A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in any field that included or was supplemented by; at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management is required.

    DAWIA Level 3, FAC-C Level 3, or other federal government agency issued Level 3 Certification. Alternatively, a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification issued by National Contract Management Association (NCMA) or Certified Professional Supply Management (CPSM) issued by Institute for Supply Management (ISM) will be accepted, if at least five (5) years of Contracting Officer Level 3 experience is demonstrated.
