EXPECTATIONS

• Directs the day-to-day operations in all aspects of Clinical Laboratory services
• Responsible for coordinating chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology and blood bank operational functions
• Ability to monitor test reporting, quality control, policies, procedures, and customer relations ü Responsible for inventory control and supply management and maintains College of American Pathologist (CAP) inspection readiness
• Responsible for inventory control and supply management

ESSENTIALS

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with Board certification recognized by the State of NV
• Current General Supervisor licensure in the State of Nevada
• Two years leadership experience in acute care hospital
• Requires experience with LIS, Automated Interfacing, QA, QC, and corrective action policies
• American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) Certification
