We perform at over 275 events annually in the Des Moines area, and we are currently hiring for Wedding & Event DJs in the Greater Des Moines and North - Central Iowa areas.
No experience or equipment needed! We provide all the training and equipment you need to become a successful DJ. The perfect candidate is someone who is awesome at life, motivated to learn, has excellent communication skills, and is comfortable speaking in front of a group of people. In addition to motivating a wide variety of people to dance and have fun, a successful DJ must possess exceptional customer service skills, as you will be performing at wedding receptions and working with brides and grooms on the biggest day of their lives, coordinating much of the reception.
This flexible part-time job is ideal for working professionals, college students, or anyone looking to add some excitement to their weekends. We supply all the equipment and offer ongoing training to help you become a great DJ. All you need to do is take the first step! We require that you have graduated from high school, own a car for transportation, be available on Saturday evenings, occasional Fridays & Sundays, and have a great personality.
Responsibilities:
Provide music, event hosting, and entertainment services at various events, including wedding receptions, corporate events, schools, mitzvahs, quinceaneras, class reunions, birthdays, grad parties, etc.
Interact with guests, coordinate and emcee events, and create a lively and engaging atmosphere.
Operate DJ equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues.
Follow company procedures and guidelines to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Own a car for transportation to event locations.
Available to work on Saturday evenings, occasional Fridays & Sundays.
Excellent communication skills and ability to speak in front of a group of people.
Willingness to undergo training to become a proficient DJ.
We offer a competitive daily wage ranging from $200.00 to $400.00, depending on the event, along with ongoing training and the opportunity to be part of exciting events.
