ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll defend banks, lenders, and broker-dealers in high-stakes commercial litigation in New Jersey state and federal courts. Work spans lender liability, commercial finance, consumer finance regulatory matters (FDCPA, TILA, RESPA), securities litigation, and parallel regulatory proceedings before the CFPB, OCC, and DOBI. You'll work directly with partners who lead bank-side practices for Fortune 500 financial institution clients, managing full-lifecycle litigation from pleadings through trial preparation.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience: 4–8 years of post-JD experience in bank-side financial services litigation — defending lenders, broker-dealers, or banks as your primary practice area (not generalist commercial lit with occasional bank matters)
• Substantive litigation responsibility, including depositions and motion practice (not just document review)
• JD with strong law school GPA
• Active NJ bar or ability to waive in
• Steady employment history — more than 2 firms in 5 years is a disqualifier
