    Position Summary

    The Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s risk management and regulatory adherence through effective oversight of insurance, bonding, and business licensing processes. This role manages the full lifecycle of contractual insurance requirements, including processing Certificates of Insurance (COIs), reviewing customer and supplier insurance obligations, maintaining documentation, and coordinating the issuance of special endorsements. The position also administers surety bond activities, handling new bond requests, renewals, riders, and closures while ensuring accurate recordkeeping, invoice processing, and communication with internal teams and external surety partners. Additionally, the Analyst manages regional business licensing requirements by conducting research, identifying compliance gaps, providing analysis reports to divisional controllers, and ensuring timely compliance with jurisdictional registrations and renewals.

    Position Details

    • Manages contractual insurance processes, including the processing of Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests (new, revised, and renewal), maintaining related documentation, reviewing customer and supplier contractual insurance requirements, and facilitating the issuance of special insurance endorsements.
    • Manages surety bond processes, including new bond requests, riders, and renewals; maintains accurate bond documentation; coordinates the closure of surety bonds with internal business units and external surety partners; processes surety bond invoices; and provides bonding capacity letters to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Record-keeping, management and processing of regional new and renewal business license.
    • Supports business units with customer pre-qualifications as they relate to insurance, bonding and licensing matters.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration or risk management
    • Excellent communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the insurance and/or construction industry
    • Proficient understanding of accounting principles is beneficial
    • Proficient in MS Office applications
    • Extremely detail-oriented
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage a large amount of information
    • Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset
    • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement.
    • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information with discretion
    • Capable of managing multi tasks while maintaining attention to detail
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills
