LAUNCH is hiring a Compliance Specialist to work with the LAUNCH Compliance Team. A Compliance Specialist works to ensure the company complies with internal policies along with relevant laws and regulations. The position is suited for individuals with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a focus on organization and ability to prioritize responsibilities according to business needs and deadlines. You will have the opportunity to learn the aviation industry, gain compliance experience, and be able to grow with the Company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Onboard all employees according to customer, internal, and regulatory standards (employment verifications; background checks; drug tests; I-9 e-verify, etc.)
• Review and meticulously edit a specific set of compliance documentation
• Maintain records of compliance activities and audits
• Ensure all reviewed documents exactly meet our clients’ rules and state laws
• Contact employees in regard to missing or incorrect paperwork
• Answer phones and provide responses to questions employees may have
• Ability to identify and resolve onboarding and compliance issues and challenges
• Work with multiple internal departments to process a substantial volume of documents
• Audit information in documents for accuracy and proactively work to minimize future errors
• Call attention to discrepancies and work amicably with coworkers
• Learn and maintain knowledge based on current company, state, and federal regulations
• Develop and implement compliance processes

MINIMUM EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum of 2 years working in an office environment
2. Associates degree required
