    Job Description

    As Compliance Specialist in the Regulatory Compliance Team in the US you will be responsible for market analyses and regulatory license applications for new regulated markets as well as maintaining our existing licenses along with providing support to various stakeholders in relation to internal and external compliance queries. With your solid understanding of the business and regulatory licensing, great collaboration and communication skills, you will be the point of contact to coordinate between the regulatory authorities and the commercial, compliance and HR teams in Evolution for licensing obligations, best practice and regulatory development.

    The Compliance Specialist role is based in our Atlantic City, NJ studio, is part of a global compliance team and reports to the Compliance Manager located in New Jersey.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Responsible for conducting regulatory risk assessments of processes and procedures to ensure that they reflect current operational requirements.

    • Ensure adherence to all applicable gaming regulations and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
    • Devise, implement, and monitor policies that comply with legislation and amend as appropriate subject to changes in legislation
    • Maintain a solid understanding of regulatory developments internally and externally, in addition to evolving best practice in compliance control.
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies, gaming commissions, and internal stakeholders.
    • Host recurring meetings by establishing meeting agendas and project tracking.
    • Frequently follow up on high priority projects in conjunction with other compliance disciplines as needed.
    • Communicate efficiently and maintain/develop strong relations with gaming regulators and internal stakeholders.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Associate degree is a plus, but not required.
    • At least 3-5 years of experience in compliance related role in the gaming industry.
    • Ability to obtain a gaming license, if required.
    • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
    • Adaptable and agile, can work in a fast-paced environment and respond and re-prioritize quickly when internal and external demand changes.
    • Possess analytical skills, high attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Working knowledge of PC computer software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe)
    • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
    • Frequently using wrist motion, dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and writing, typing on computer keyboard.
    • Willingness to work independently, as well as part of a team.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience working in the gaming industry or with government agencies.
    • Regulatory compliance experience.
    • Experienced with gaming regulations.
