Complimentary Services Host-Hostess
Greeting and escorting guests to tables in the Comp Services Area, maintaining a courteous and efficient operation of the dining area to ensure guest satisfaction. Ensure guests are registered guests of the hotel or paying patrons for Comp Services. Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Meet and greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner as they arrive • Ensure guests are registered guests of the hotel or paying patrons for Comp Services based on operating procedures • Create the best possible memorable experience for the guest • Cater to guests who may require extra attention; e.g. children, elderly • Provide guests with product details, such as menu items and description as well as alternatives available for food allergies • Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards. • Keeps customer count, as well as tracks table availability. • Promptly answers questions and responds appropriately to the needs in a friendly and professional manner. • Adheres to all company policies and procedures. • Follows safety and security procedures and rules. • Knows department fire prevention and emergency pUtilizes protective equipment where required. • Reports unsafe conditions to supervisor/manager. • Reports accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to supervisor/manager. • Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules. • All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. (Specific standards outlined in team member handbook). • Assists other Personnel when needed to ensure optimal service to guests. • Perform any related duties as requested by supervisor/manager. Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: • Any combination of education and experience equivalent and graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. • High school diploma. Compensation: $15 - $16 hourly
