WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGOVERVIEW
The Compose.ly team is looking to collaborate with an experienced voice- and SEO-driven marketing copywriter for a two-month engagement (with the possibility of ongoing intermittent work after project completion). Key deliverables include expanded product/services landing pages, email marketing copy, and revised PPC ad copy to increase engagement, on-site time, and click-through rates. We'll provide keywords and some direction, but we need an expert writer who can create engaging ad and website content that capitalizes on the available keywords, optimizes our visibility, and increases click-through rate of advertisements.
What You'll Be Doing
The project will consist of refreshing roughly 40 website pages, revising ad copy for 19 Google Search ad groups, and crafting marketing email copy as needed. The vast majority of these pages currently have content that we would like to expand to target more keywords, so this would not be a from-scratch effort. For PPC ads, we’re looking for someone who can quickly learn our value propositions and how we position our services to better refine our message over 19 ad groups.
MARKETING EMAIL COPY: Write engaging marketing emails, each with its own targeted key objective (such as clicking to read an article, download a white paper, speak with sales, or partner with Compose.ly).
LANDING PAGES REWRITE: Current landing pages average around 400-600 words in length. The copywriter will expand each page to around 2,000 words each, with a focus on SEO, aiming to incorporate more longtail keywords and variations.
AD GROUPS: Current Google Search ad groups consist of 19 different groups in need of reworking. The ideal copywriter is familiar with best practices for keyword placement, target word length, CTAs, and maintaining conciseness and specificity while improving tone and brand voice as well as consistency.

Contract & Compensation
We are looking for a copywriter that can work 20–40 hrs/week, for 8–12 weeks.We would pay at a rate of $25–$30/hr, with a high-end estimate of 250 hours total.
