Summer Employment Coordinator
Job Summary:
Summer Employment Coordinators are responsible for supervising and implementing the 5-week summer youth employment program.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with youth adults.
Experience or knowledge in organizing and leading youth education programs.
High School diploma/GED is required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Must have registered and insured vehicle.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Khmer, or other relevant languages considered a plus.
Work Schedule Demands:
Temporary Full-time position. Typical schedule would be weekdays, with occasional evenings. Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 3:00 pm (30 hours a week). July 6th – August 20th. $17.00/hr
CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION:
Has access to program case management records. Maintains the confidentiality of all materials in accordance with State and Federal laws and CCAP policies and procedures.

Supervise youth enrolled in the summer employment.
Process youth’s payroll biweekly.
Establish and promote programming dates and offerings
Coordinate facilities use, transportation, technology, and custodial services
Create, organize, and update youth’s summer participant file
Communicate with employer partners and check in with youth at their placements weekly.
Communicate with staff and parents
Manage student behaviors
Must be organized and able to work with detailed records
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing and follow written and verbal instructions
Must be able to effectively interact with others in person, by phone or in written communication
Must understand the need for teamwork, timeliness and safety
Must be flexible and able to respond to changing priorities, new job assignments and interruptions
Must be able to learn new tasks and skills quickly
Must be able to assume responsibility for routine decisions in the absence of an immediate supervisor
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of records, discussions and other correspondence regarding youth matters
