    Job Title: CT Technician – Radiology / CAT Scan

    Rate: Up to $2825.00 weekly

    Location: Concord, NH

    Mid Shift (12H) - 36 hours/week (11A-11:30P), Friday, Saturday, Sunday

    Position Summary

    The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders, departmental protocols, and regulatory standards. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality while maintaining efficient workflow and delivering excellent customer service.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Education

    • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

    Experience

    • Prefer a minimum of two+ (2+) year of proven experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist.
    • EMR experience preferred: Cerner experience preferred but not required.
    • Excellent understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and ability to communicate it.
    • Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment and ability to fix minor issues.
    • Strong attention to detail and patient safety.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Travel experience required.

    Licenses/Certifications

    • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
    • Must have NH AART certification / State License.
    • AHA BLS certification required.

    Key Responsibilities

    Imaging & Technical Duties

    • Perform CT scans according to established protocols and physician specifications.
    • Verify patient identity and accurately review orders before each exam.
    • Operate CT scanners and related equipment safely and effectively.
    • Adjust machine settings and utilize proper techniques to obtain optimal image quality.
    • Perform IV placement for contrast injections and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
    • Maintain cleanliness, functionality, and safety of imaging equipment.
    • Assist radiologists with special procedures and ensure images are available for interpretation.

    Patient Care

    • Provide clear instructions and compassionate care throughout the imaging process.
    • Assess patient condition and ability to tolerate procedures; modify techniques as needed.
    • Observe patients during scans to detect and respond to any discomfort or complications.
    • Uphold patient rights, privacy, and HIPAA compliance at all times.

    Workflow, Documentation & Compliance

    • Accurately document procedures, patient histories, and contrast use in the EMR/PACS.
    • Ensure all exams are completed efficiently to support department workflow.
    • Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles.
    • Maintain required logs, quality assurance checks, and regulatory documentation.
    • Participate in continuing education and maintain current certifications.
