Instructors needed (full-time or part-time) for Computer Aided Drafting and Design program. Courses to be taught include:
Structural Drafting - Concrete foundations and frames, wood framing and trusses, structural steel framing systems. Includes detailing of concrete, wood, and steel to meet industry standards.
Basic Computer Aided Drafting - Introduction to computer- aided drafting. Emphasis is on setup, creating and modifying geometry, storing and retrieving predefined shapes, placing, rotating and scaling objects, adding text and dimensions, using layers, coordinating systems and plot/print to scale.
Machine Drafting - Production of detail and assembly drawings of machines, threads, gears, cams, tolerances and limit dimensioning, surface finishes and precision drawings.
Intermediate Computer Aided Drafting - A continuation of practices and techniques used in basic computer-aided drafting including the development and use of prototype drawings, construction of pictorial drawings, extracting data, and basics of 3D.
Final Project - Advanced Computer Aided Drafting: Students participate in a project from conception to conclusion.
Courses run Monday thru Thursday, 8:00 - 4:30. There is also a possibility of Friday classes.
