    CCI has a Client who is seeking a Project Manager with the below qualification and experience  

    BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE 

    Client is responsible for the issuance of motor vehicle titles, tags and driver licenses. The Agency continues to transition in its approach to provide effective and efficient delivery of government services that focus on processes as well as results. 

    Client recognizes the value of our customers’ time and is constantly working towards applying the latest technologies to minimize the need to visit an Agency office. Our goal is to maximize the ability of our customers to perform transactions via alternative service delivery (ASD) methods such as by mail, phone, internet, smart phone apps, or the newest generation of user-friendly self-service kiosks located at branch offices throughout the state. 

    The Agency continues to evolve as changes in technology and federal and state laws present new challenges.  To that end, the Client continuously researches best practices from around the nation and assumes a leading role in implementing innovative approaches for promoting driver safety and information security as part of its initiative to provide premier customer service. 

    The purpose is to obtain software development, enhancement, maintenance, and support services for existing and future enterprise software applications at the Agency as described in the following sections. 

    DUTIES:  

    • The Project Manager is assigned the management of a specific project and the work performed under assigned Task Orders.  
    • Performs day-to-day management of the project, identifies issues and risks and recommends possible issue and risk mitigation strategies associated with the project.  
    • Acts as a facilitator between a State agency and IT contractor. Is responsible for ensuring that work performed under TOs is within scope, consistent with requirements, and delivered on time and on budget. Identifies critical paths, tasks, dates, testing, and acceptance criteria.  
    • Provides solutions to improve efficiency (e.g., reduce costs while maintaining or improving performance levels). Monitors issues and provides resolutions for up-to-date status reports.  
    • Demonstrates excellent writing and oral communications skills.

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other related discipline. Master’s degree or project management certification is preferred. 
    • GENERAL EXPERIENCE: At least five (5) years of experience in project management. 
    • SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least five (5) years of experience in managing IT related projects and must demonstrate a leadership role in at least three successful projects that were delivered on time and on budget. 
    • Have at least five (5) years of experience within the past eight (8) years on software development projects for large-scale client/server architectures developed in the Visual Studio .NET software development environment. 
    • Five (5) years’ experience managing projects using the following technologies: 
    • Microsoft Visual Studio 2010+ using C# .NET, Visual COBOL 
    • Microsoft Visual Basic .NET 2010+ 
    • Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 
    • Microsoft ASP .NET 
    • Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) 
    • Windows Forms 
    • Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) 
    • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 + or IBM DB2
