Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Computer Science Co-op to join our TEF (Technical Engineering Function) team in Fountain Inn, United States. This cooperative education opportunity will provide hands-on experience in business process systems and industrial engineering applications, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to real-world scenarios.

• Support the TEF6 IE group with digitalization projects and automated reporting using VBA and other computer languages / tools
• Collect and analyze data to identify areas for process improvement with TEF7 group - equipment digitalization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions using AI solutions and support
• Prepare reports and presentations on project findings and recommendations
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist in the development of operator work instructions as needed
• Support the team in various computer science related improvement projects as needed - i4.0 related

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
• 3.0 min. GPA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Basic PowerBI experience preferred
• Basic understanding of business process analysis and improvement principles
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Enthusiasm for learning and applying new concepts in a professional setting
• Relevant coursework or academic projects in computer science, programming, machine languages, automation and AI capabilities
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
