    Computer Solutions Group in Albuquerque, NM has a job opening for a Low Voltage Technician. No experience necessary to apply.

    Additional on the job training on fiber-optic termination, low voltage cabling, equipment mount/install/connect procedures, & local building codes will be provided.

    Previous low voltage cabling, electrician, or construction experience a plus.

    Responsibilities:

    Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage cabling & fiber optic cabling

    Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems

    Install low voltage conduit indoors and outdoors when needed

    Install Patch Panels, Cabinets, and Rack systems

    Install and connect multi-media equipment

    Mount, install, and connect Coaxial and IP camera’s

    Mount, install, and connect Wireless Antenna’s and AP’s

    Perform tracing and repair of low voltage systems & cabling

    Adhere to all quality and safety codes

    Knowledge and familiarity with local installation building codes

    Perform cabling install and repairs in high security environments when needed

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in data cabling & fiber optic installation, termination, and testing preferred

    US Citizenship is preferred

    Current NM driver’s license is required

    Color vision to identify color coded wiring is required

    Must be able to communicate effectively and appropriately in English

    Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

    Must be able to move freely and safely up and down ladders or stairs

    Must be able to kneel and bend freely

    Basic computer skills to utilize online ticketing system via PC or mobile device preferred

    Familiarity with reading schematics & blueprints

    Able to accommodate occasional OT work (nights and weekends)

    Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

    Positive attitude and ability to interact with co-workers, customers, and other trade professionals
