    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    G6 Cyber Solutions (G6CS) is at the forefront of delivering innovative technology solutions that enhance national security and support critical military operations.     Currently, G6CS is seeking a motivated and mission-oriented CST to join our team in support of Air Force operations at JBSA Lackland. In this role, you will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support, system administration, and network maintenance across classified (SIPRNet/JWICS) and unclassified (NIPRNet) environments. You will be instrumental in imaging and deploying systems, troubleshooting end-user issues, and coordinating with base communications and intelligence organizations to ensure mission readiness.     Required Experience:

    • 2+ years of experience providing IT support in a professional environment.
    • Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
    • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
    • Experience working in Department of War (DoW) environments, including NIPRNet and SIPRNet.
    • Experience imaging, configuring, and deploying end-user systems using approved baselines.
    • Experience using Remedy or a comparable IT service management/ticketing system.
    • Working knowledge of the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accountability procedures.
    • Familiarity with maintaining cybersecurity compliance and system integrity in a classified environment.

    Nice-to-Have Experience:

    • Experience supporting JWICS environments and coordinating with Air Force Special Compartmented Information (AFSCI) organizations.
    • Experience supporting VoIP, VTC, audiovisual, and telecom systems.
    • Experience supporting LAN/WAN infrastructure in DoW-compliant environments.
    • Experience producing system documentation, incident reports, and compliance reporting.
    • Familiarity with DoW cybersecurity policies, STIGs, and secure access control practices.

    What You Will Be Doing:

    • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk support for hardware, software, and network issues across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS environments.
    • Track, manage, and resolve service requests using Remedy or similar ticketing systems in accordance with established priorities and service level agreements.
    • Image, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, and peripherals using approved baselines, and install/maintain operating systems and applications.
    • Maintain LAN/WAN connectivity and support VoIP, VTC, and audiovisual systems to ensure reliable communications.
    • Ensure compliance with DoW cybersecurity policies, maintain data integrity, and enforce secure access controls.
    • Maintain accurate logs, system configuration documentation, incident records, and monthly performance and compliance reports.
    • Support equipment accountability through DPAS and ADPE processes.

    Certifications:

    Minimum:

    • DoW 8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, or equivalent)
    • High School diploma or equivalent

    Work Environment:

    On-site support within secure facilities. Position requires prolonged computer use and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
