    Cyrion Systems Integration, Inc. is looking for a well-versed Systems Administrator who will work as part of a team to maintain and enhance client’s systems and network infrastructures.

    The ideal candidate loves problem-solving, learning new things, and wants the opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary environment (research + strategy + design + implementation + support) to solve technical challenges and to grow their skill-set working with the diverse environments of our clients. Candidates must be comfortable working in a very dynamic, creative, fast paced, and rapidly changing environment. This position will be responsible maintaining desktops , printers, servers, and network equipment.

    The candidate must both be able to work alone, discovering and self-initiating tasks, as well as work well as part of a larger group. The candidate must display excellent communication skills including both written and verbal and be prepared to document or diagram environments or configurations.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    · Provide onsite & remote desktop, server, and network support for problems and customer issues.

    · Maintain Windows Server/Active Directory, email systems, and backup systems.

    · Maintain Linux / Unix systems and applications.

    · Troubleshoot and repair workstations, servers, cabling, and software application problems.

    · Maintain trouble tickets and provide detailed documentation of all work.

    · Provide analysis and input in a team environment.

    · Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

    · Work on client support requests, while also pro-actively identifying possible future issues, and points where improvements can be made.

    · Maintain and grow positive relationships with clients as the public face of our company.

    Skills & Requirements

    · Ability to install, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft Windows desktops and servers.

    · Experience with Linux installation, patching, software installation.

    · Active Directory, Group Policy, Scripting.

    · Microsoft Exchange management and maintenance. (not required)

    · Experience with working of standard network protocols and services:

    TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, POP, IMAP, etc.

    · Experience configuring firewall VPNs, access lists, NAT rules.

    · Knowledge of Antivirus/Antispam, and Security solutions.

    · Working knowledge of backup software or cloud-based solutions.

    · Any experience with VMware/Virtual Environments is a plus.

    · Experience with SQL databases a plus. (Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL,MySQL).
