Part-Time Computer & STEM Lab Teacher Location: Novato and Larkspur, CA
About the Role:
Are you passionate about preparing students for the future? We are seeking a dynamic Part-Time Computer Teacher to join our private schools in Novato and Larkspur, CA! You will deliver engaging Digital Literacy and Computer Science lessons (curriculum and training provided).
You’ll be equipping students with essential digital literacy, critical thinking, and 21st-century skills—while fostering creativity and curiosity. If you enjoy making an impact in young learners’ lives and working in a forward-thinking environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Schedule:
Part-Time | 2 days per week
School-day hours
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Digital Literacy & Computer Science lessons using a provided Project-Based Learning (PBL) curriculum
Deliver lessons that build skills such as digital citizenship, AI, coding, media literacy, and future-ready technology skills
Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and ethical technology use
Collaborate with teachers and administration to integrate technology into school culture
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications:
Passion for education, technology, and working with K-8 students
Comfort with technology tools (Google Workspace, Office 365, or Apple)
Experience in education, STEM, or related fields preferred (but training is provided)
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Enthusiasm for creating “real-world” learning experiences
Commitment to fostering a growth mindset and digital citizenship in students
Bonus Experience (Not Required but a Plus!):
Experience with coding platforms (Scratch, Code.org, robotics kits)
Experience with STEM Lab equipment (3D printers, CAD software, robotics)
Familiarity with Project-Based Learning (PBL)
