About the Lab Ops Support Position

We are looking for a qualified Lab Ops Support Technician to undertake a variety of support procedures for the lab. You will be handling sensitive equipment or substances to maintain an efficient lab setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a laboratory, greenhouse or warehouse setting.  He/She will be well-trained to maintain safety conditions and will be passionate about doing work that moves things forward.

The goal is to optimize lab support and succeed in producing reliable and meaningful results that can be used to make a difference.

Lab Ops Support Responsibilities

• Receive and store lab supplies
• Maintain lab supply inventory and place purchase orders to keep items in stock
• Maintain assigned lab areas including stocking supplies, tidying and hygiene
• Wash and store lab glassware
• Support Laboratory Technicians as well as providing support to R&D team as required
• Participate in workplace safety program
• Comply with cannabis monitoring methods
• Assist in the service of general lab equipment
• Act as a substitute for on leave Technicians
• Quickly and accurately report issues to supervisor
• Knowledge of plant systems and growth is desired
• Other duties as assigned

Lab Ops Support Requirements

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalency. 

• Must have or obtain OLCC marijuana handlers permit

• Ability to work in an agricultural setting including occasional lifting objects over 50 lbs and operating small machinery
