CONCRETE BOOM PUMP OPERATOR
Florida Concrete Pumping (FCP)
We are building the most professional, respected concrete pumping operation in Florida. We’re not looking for someone who can simply 'run a pump.' We’re looking for someone who owns their machine.
What 'A-Player' Means at FCP
• Shows up early. Not on time — early.
• Knows their pump inside and out.
• Prevents breakdowns instead of reacting to them.
• Keeps their truck cleaner than most personal vehicles.
• Protects the company’s reputation on every single job.
• Treats the pump like a $500,000 asset — because it is.
Core Responsibilities
Elite-Level Equipment Operation
• Operate boom pump safely, efficiently, and smoothly under all jobsite conditions.
• Manage pressure properly to reduce wear and prevent line blockages.
• Set up with precision — outriggers level, boom positioned intelligently, no shortcuts.
• Communicate clearly with contractors and finish crews to keep pours flowing.
Ownership-Level Maintenance
You are responsible for your machine.
• Conduct thorough daily inspections beyond the checklist.
• Maintain hopper, rock valve, wear parts, clamps, gaskets, and reducers.
• Monitor hydraulic systems, pivot points, boom pins, and pipeline integrity.
• Perform consistent greasing and lubrication per manufacturer standards.
• Identify minor issues before they become major downtime.
• Keep accurate maintenance logs.
• Work directly with mechanics to solve problems proactively.
We measure operators by uptime, cleanliness, and mechanical awareness — not just yards pumped.
Cleanliness & Professional Standards
• Take pride in having one of the cleanest pumps on any jobsite.
• Conduct periodic deep-cleaning of boom sections and hard-to-reach areas.
• Use proper washout containment procedures to prevent environmental violations.
• Protect customer driveways, sidewalks, and landscaping during setup and washout.
• Immediately remove hardened concrete buildup from hopper, grate, and pipeline.
• Store hoses, reducers, clamps, and accessories neatly and securely.
• Keep remote controls clean and protected from damage.
• Ensure all grease points are wiped clean after servicing — no excessive residue.
• Maintain polished company image — truck should be jobsite-ready at all times.
• Full wash-down after every job.
• No excessive concrete buildup.
• Clean cab. Organized tools. Secured pipeline.
• Leave jobsites cleaner than you found them.
• Represent FCP professionally in appearance and attitude.
Our equipment is our brand.
