The Ready-Mix Dispatcher / Batching Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily concrete orders, assigning loads to drivers, and operating the batching system to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient delivery. This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a solid understanding of ready-mix production and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign concrete loads to drivers based on delivery times, job locations, and production capacity

• Operate and monitor the batching system to ensure accurate mix designs and quantities

• Coordinate with plant operators, drivers, sales, and customers to adjust schedules as needed

• Track orders, loads, and deliveries in dispatch/batching software

• Communicate delivery updates, delays, and changes to customers and internal teams

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and company procedures

• Monitor truck availability, cycle times, and job site conditions

• Resolve delivery or production issues quickly and professionally

• Maintain accurate records of loads, tickets, and production reports

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Ready-Mix Dispatcher , Batcher , or similar role required

• Knowledge of concrete batching systems and mix designs

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to prioritize orders and make real-time scheduling decisions

• Proficient with dispatch and batching software (Command Alkon, Jonel, or similar preferred)

• Basic computer skills and data entry accuracy

Salary info:
