    C&S Contracting, a division of CMES, Inc.

    Concrete Laborer needed in Atlanta Metro Area. The Concrete Laborer supports heavy civil construction projects by performing general labor and assisting with concrete work, site preparation, and daily field operations. This role is essential to ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.

    Key Responsibilities

    Assist with concrete work including forming, placing, and finishing

    Help set and remove forms, place rebar, and perform basic concrete duties

    Prepare and clean job sites, removing debris and eliminating hazards

    Dig, shovel, and assist with grading and site preparation

    Load, unload, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment

    Signal equipment operators to assist with safe movement and placement

    Support traffic control and maintain safe work zones

    Read and follow plans, instructions, and specifications as directed

    Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

    Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures at all times

    Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent required

    Construction or concrete experience preferred

    Valid driver’s license preferred

    Skills & Abilities

    Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

    Strong teamwork and communication skills

    Ability to read and understand basic plans and instructions

    Problem-solving skills in a fast-paced job site environment

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

    Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting

    Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods

    Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment

    Work Environment

    Outdoor construction sites, including highways and roadside projects

    Exposure to moving traffic, heavy equipment, noise, dust, and fumes

    Work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)

    May require travel depending on project location
