SeaState Land Services is looking to hire 6 skilled slab masons who are familiar with residential construction in the Tampa/Sarasota area. A qualified candidate would need to have atleast 2 years of experience in residential concrete masonry and have reliable transportation to work. Below is a comprehensive list of skills and responsibilities that this position will require.

Set forms and prepare sites for slab pours on residential and commercial projects

Place, level, and finish concrete for slabs, sidewalks, driveways, and foundations

Operate hand and power tools (trowels, screeds, floats, etc.) safely and efficiently

Read and interpret blueprints and site plans to ensure accurate layout and dimensions

Monitor curing process and perform finishing work (edging, jointing, sealing)

Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to company safety standards

Collaborate with crew members and assist with related site tasks as needed

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a slab mason or concrete finisher

Proven ability to set forms, pour, and finish concrete slabs to a high standard

Experience with both residential and commercial slab work preferred

Ability to read construction plans and use masonry/concrete tools

Reliable transportation to job sites (required)

Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors, and stand for long periods

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
