    Concrete Superintendent

    Miami-Dade County, FL | Full-Time | Field-Based

An established Florida general contractor with more than 30 years in business is hiring a Concrete Superintendent to lead concrete restoration projects and welcomes candidates with either concrete restoration or structural concrete experience. The company’s portfolio includes projects ranging from $1 million to more than $50 million, including long-term, multi-year work. All project assignments are within Miami-Dade County, eliminating out-of-town and overnight travel.

This role is built for Superintendents who run projects independently, whether you are an established Concrete Superintendent looking for larger, longer-term work or a senior Superintendent considering a change. Structural concrete Superintendents with cast-in-place or post-tension backgrounds who are interested in steady, multi-year restoration work are encouraged to apply. Assistant Superintendents and Foremen already running projects day to day, and field-oriented Project Managers, will also be considered.

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead daily field operations, crews, subcontractors, vendors, and jobsite activities.
    • Plan and sequence concrete restoration and structural repair work while coordinating stucco, waterproofing, coatings, painting, and related trades.
    • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, deliveries, inspections, and schedules.
    • Ensure work meets engineering requirements, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
    • Identify and document field conditions, additional work, schedule concerns, and potential solutions.
    • Maintain daily reports, progress photographs, as-builts, and project records using construction-management software.
    • Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, quantity verification, and closeout while coordinating with project managers, engineers, inspectors, clients, and building representatives.

    What You Bring

    • Concrete restoration experience on commercial, multifamily, or other occupied-building projects beyond parking-garage-only work, or structural concrete experience (cast-in-place, post-tension, or formwork) on commercial, multifamily, or high-rise construction.
    • Experience running projects as a Superintendent, or as an Assistant Superintendent, Foreman, or Project Manager with full day-to-day responsibility for field operations.
    • Proven ability to independently lead daily field operations, crews, and subcontractors.
    • Working knowledge of formwork, reinforcing steel, concrete placement, curing, and inspections; restoration candidates should also know concrete demolition, chipping, spall repair, and reinforcing-steel treatment.
    • Ability to read plans, specifications, scopes of work, and engineering documents.
    • Experience maintaining daily reports, progress photographs, as-builts, and other field documentation.
    • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, and electronic construction documents.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • High-rise concrete restoration or high-rise structural concrete experience is strongly preferred.
    • Experience with 40-year recertification or milestone-inspection repairs, balconies, façades, waterproofing, stucco, coatings, or building envelopes.
    • Swing-stage or suspended-scaffold experience.
    • Procore or Bluebeam experience and OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training.

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Compensation based on directly relevant concrete restoration or structural concrete experience, high-rise experience, field-leadership ability, and the level of responsibility the candidate can independently manage.
    • Medical, dental, and life insurance.
    • Paid vacation and holidays.
    • Long-term stability, multi-year projects, and a path into senior field and project leadership.
