We are looking for someone who is an experienced concrete construction superintendent who can lead our labor crew and subcontractors. Concrete construction experience is required. You'll help our construction company plan and manage projects from start to finish for commercial concrete on new construction projects. Additional responsibilities include daily scheduling, maintaining the safety and compliance of a construction site, and supervising all activities. Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of concrete construction field experience with leadership skills in managing construction workers, highly preferred. Responsibilities: • Assess subcontractor progress against timelines and performance targets to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to the highest possible quality • Require complete adherence to health and safety regulations on construction sites to avoid accidents and delays, and report any problems to the project manager as soon as possible • Hire subcontractors and verify that they have all the required permits • Maintain a daily record of project progress and home repair updates for the project manager and the homeowner Qualifications: • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles • Physically capable of using heavy equipment and lifting at least 40 pounds • Must have a high school diploma, bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role Compensation: $100,000 yearly
