    TITLE:                                        Human Resources Manager

    REPORTS TO:                              CFO

    KEY RELATIONSHIPS:                Management Team, All Personnel

    LOCATION:                                  Culver City, CA

     

     

    The Human Resources Manager oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource Department. This department is responsible for supporting the HR needs across 8 offices between the US and Canada. This role partners with company executives for strategizing, analyzing, and implementing HR best practices and policies. The Manager is also

    responsible for bridging the business to its employees by following the company’s culture code (Teamwork, Pride, Positivity, Striving) in all HR efforts. The HR Manager will maintain open lines of communication with company officers to identify areas of improvement around compensation, payroll/HRIS, organizational development, new team member orientation procedures, health and wellness plans, employee relations, strategic workforce planning and culture.

     

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Recruit and onboard new employees.
    • Oversee processes around employee development and training.
    • Maintain employee relations.
    • Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees
    • Execute on performance management and improvement systems
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
    • HR Policy development, documentation and communication.
    • Communicate key information to employees.
    • Active role in compensation and benefits administration
    • Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
    • Employee services and counseling
    • Execute on special projects.
    • Develop and support of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes accountability, standardization, feedback, and proactive communication.
    • Employee engagement efforts
    • Support the development of and consistent adherence to standardized processes, procedures, and policies across the organization
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration and/or related field of study.
    • 5+ years of experience in a progressive Human Resources management role.
    • Familiarity and experience using ADP payroll/HRIS
    • Ability to demonstrate engagement and support to an evolving business.
    • Working knowledge of multi-state, multi-country HR laws and practices
    • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to travel to out-of-state or out-of-country locations as needed.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications on a Mac Operating system.
