    Conference Room Technician

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Rapid Response Conference Room Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of conference room technology for various meetings and events. You will be tasked with setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining Microsoft Teams Room equipment, as well as providing general audiovisual (A/V) support.

    As a key part of our remote team, you will work independently on-site to resolve any technical issues and ensure a smooth, uninterrupted experience for meeting participants. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with rapid troubleshooting and have a strong knowledge of A/V technology, particularly in a conference room environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Set up and configure conference room equipment for scheduled meetings, ensuring all audio, video, and connectivity components are functioning properly.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Microsoft Teams Room equipment, including audio, video, and connectivity problems.
    • Maintain and test conference room A/V systems, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
    • Work closely with remote teams to escalate and communicate technical issues or incidents.
    • Provide technical support for ad-hoc or last-minute meeting setups as needed.
    • Ensure proper documentation of meeting setups, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
    • Assist with training users on how to utilize conference room technology effectively.

    Technical Environment and Skills/Experience:

    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams Room setups and related technologies.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting A/V equipment, including cameras, microphones, and displays.
    • Experience with general A/V systems and conference room technology.
    • Familiarity with video conferencing tools and their integration with hardware.
    • Ability to work independently and solve technical problems quickly and effectively.
    • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with remote teams and end-users.
    • Prior experience in a similar role or a technical support environment is preferred.

    Working Environment:

    • You will be working alone on-site at the designated conference room locations.
    • While you will be on-site, you will be part of a remote support team that provides guidance and collaboration when necessary.
