SO, WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an Live Event Sales Consultant for our Grand Rapids branch whose attitude, skills, and work ethic will embody our mission “to provide a fantastic customer experience.” Our sales coordinators are sharp, driven, and outgoing sales professionals who would rather be meeting with potential leads and customers instead of sitting at a desk. They are creative, both in their AV live event designs as well as their strategies for closing the deal and leaving the customer happy to have chosen to work with CTI. We provide the technical support so that you can focus on what you do best: build relationships with both existing and new customers. WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?
-Generate sales through given leads and prospect for new customers.
-Negotiate and close new and existing audio visual business effectively and efficiently.
-Manage all business and customer information using event software.
-Participate in all customer or in-house facility meetings, as required.
-Coordinate with the operations team to ensure a successful event.
-Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the in-house team and customers.
-Attend and participate in local networking events.

DOES EXPERIENCE COUNT?
-Sales Experience: We need someone who isn't afraid to put themselves out there, someone who is willing to do what it takes to get the sale!
-Communication: Very important! You will be working and communicating with clients, and different departments within the company. Lines of communication must be clear, concise, and open, in order for the process to run smoothly.
-Customer Service Experience: A must! As you can see our customers are #1 and we need someone who can take care of them.
-Attitude and Aptitude: Are key! We need someone who is eager to learn and comes to work ready to tackle any situation.
