    Job Description

    CONFIANCE CAREER CONNECTION, LLC has partnered with a full-service title company adding to their team with this growing and exciting market!  We are seeking a full-time ESCROW ASSISTANT in SUGAR LAND, TX. If you fit the below qualifications, we want to hear from you!

     

    The ESCROW ASSISTANT duties will include the following:

    • Open and Set up escrow files upon receipt of executed Purchase Agreements.

    • Order Preliminary Title Reports from the Title Company

    • Process deposits of Earnest Money and mail out necessary forms

    • Process and deliver preliminary title reports to principals and Lender for review.

    • Prepare and deliver preliminary Closing Statement to Principals and Lender upon request.

    • Prepare Opening Packets and Escrow Instructions as instructed by principals based on review of Purchase Agreements

    • Review Preliminary Title reports and order title clearing documentation to title officer for approval.

    • Order and Process HOA documents, as needed

    • Return executed loan packages to lender for review and approval in accordance to lender instructions.

    • Prepare and deliver recording packages based on escrow instructions and verifying that appropriate title premiums and recording fees have been collected.

    • Disburse escrow files in accordance with the written settlement statements upon receipt of funds.

    • Assist Escrow Officer, as directed

    • Perform clerical duties such as scanning, answering phones, typing forms and correspondence

    • Maintain internal escrow database and required reporting

    • Assist with scheduling and/ or conducting closings, as directed

    • Track, investigate and place stop payments on any outstanding un-cleared checks.

    Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Windows based programs
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with both internal and external customers
    • Strong attention to detail and organization and ability to work efficiently and accurately
    • Ability to prioritize workload and multitask
    • Ability to remain flexible with changes in schedule and workload
    • Strong customer service interaction
    • Proven success in a fast-paced environment
    • Minimum of 1 year of Escrow/Purchasing Experience
