    COMPANY

    Our client is a nationally recognized leader within the property management industry. They manage affordable to luxury residential, as well as commercial portfolios nationwide.

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Facilities Manager is responsible for 100+ Affordable Housing communities across the east coast. This is a roving position and requires 95% travel. Ideal candidate will be comfortable with airplane travel, live near Gaithersburg, MD, and have a reliable vehicle.  

    JOB DUTIES

    • Capital Improvement project oversight across multiple property locations
    • Assistance with company, State, Local & Agency inspection requirements
    • Preventive Maintenance management
    • Technical troubleshooting, resolving various maintenance issues
    • Special projects and other duties, as required.
    • Emergency response management

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong HVAC knowledge and experience, certification required*
    • Residential Property Management experience preferred
    • Ability to interpret construction drawings & specifications, including architectural, MEP & Civil construction manuals
    • Knowledge of garden, low & high-rise construction, MEP & life safety systems
    • Working knowledge of equipment, HVAC machinery, materials, & supplies
    • Experience with RealPage OneSite, or other core property management (or relatable) software - able to create reports and analyze property performance metrics specifically related to work order completion, turnover, and preventive maintenance
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, required
    • Ability to select and supervise contractors for building repairs and renovations
    • Ability to organize, analyze, interpret, and evaluate potential problems, then provide practical, cost-effective solutions
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
    • Ability to plan, organize, and monitor work activities according to priorities, established schedules, deadlines, and emergencies
    • Experience with understand REAC inspection protocols
    • Must be willing to work fluctuating schedules
    • Must be accessible to respond to off-hour emergency situations

    COMPENSATION

    $90K-$95K Annual Salary & Comprehensive Benefits Package
