MAIN PURPOSE
- Manage the business development & sales of the assigned markets in China. Manage the airport operations team and maintain good relationship with the local authorities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
- Identify and develop sales opportunities through Company’s website or via partner agents, ensuring the revenue targets assigned are meet/exceed
- Identify and develop new distribution channel to grow sales
- Maintain good and cordial relationship with the travel and ticketing agents in the location or its surrounded region
- Act as a key point of contact to the agents, channels the sales and distribution policy to them and assist in queries related to sales and admin
Airport & Customer Experience
- Track and monitor delivery against the Standard Ground Handling Agreement (SGHA)
- Ensure this is integrated – alongside values – into key people training initiatives
- Prepare & Coordinate Pre-Ops Team Audits to the set-up of stations in China
- Coordinate with HQ Ground Services Department for Annual Station Audits
Relationship Building & Cultivation
- Maintain good relationship with CIQ authorities, tourism authority, airport authority and government regulatory authorities
- Maintain good rapport and relationship with competitors at the location
- Maintain good relationship with CAAC authority at the location
- Any other duties as assigned by General Manager, China
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Traits
- Degree holder
- Minimum 8 years of sales/commercial experience
- Experience in airport operations management is an added advantage
Desirable Traits
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Resourceful and has good negotiation skills, both oral and written
- Good commercial writing skill
- Able to multi-task in a challenging environment and work independently
