  • Responsibilities


    THE CLIENT, a Travel Technology player founded in Asia but with customers globally, are seeking expert guidance and leadership in the further development of their business.

    THE CLIENT requires the expert support, input and participation of international and domestic travel and technology professionals to supplement existing team members in support of accelerating the evolution and growth of THE CLIENT'S business. This includes but is not limited to participation in all aspects of strategic, commercial, technological and operational execution of the business.


    REPORTING TO THE PROJECT’S MANAGING DIRECTOR, this role will be pivotal in defining and managing the Client’s execution of their Corporate Strategy.

    • Day-to-day management of all aspects of product related matters including product vision, product innovation, product design, product development, product management and product marketing;
    • Own the products vision including the ability to visualize and produce customer-centric experiences, innovative product features, and a clear roadmap to drive product adoption;
    • Develop and update product roadmap based on market development, strategic objective and user needs;
    • Manage and oversee all product projects through to a successful delivery and implementation for the End Users;
    • Working closely with the Sales Director on sales strategy and approach to winning new business;
    • Establish Key Performance Indicators to track product usage and growth;
    • Ensure overall product portfolio risks and dependencies are clearly managed and communicated;
    • Speaking at events and exhibitions on behalf of the company;
    • A Special focus on the End Users requirements and ensuring the Product Roadmap is in line with Regional and Global Trends for Travel Platform Capabilities;
    • Analyzing opportunities for growth in market segments to drive product performance and profitability.


    • A minimum of 15-years in product leadership roles at companies developing B2B and B2C travel technology solutions;

    • Extensive experience with product management, agile development, product launches, scaling, and change management, especially within the airline and travel industry;

    • Able to clearly identify strategic travel technology market developments, anticipate customer requirements and drive product and functionality development utilising appropriate technological innovations, efficiently and cost effectively to meet client requirements;

    • Proven capability in identifying project resourcing needs, securing necessary hiring approvals, then in co-ordination with assigned service providers, source and onboard a truly blended Local-International team capable of excelling in the delivery of the Clients objectives;

    • Leadership experience in communicating product expectations at the executive level;

    • Strong background and technical capability in B2B technology development as well as consumer focused offerings, particularly high volume, low value transactions;

    • Ability to influence through persuasive verbal and written communication in English.

    • Mandarin Chinese speaker with previous experience of delivery on the ground in Asia is preferred but not essential.


    • Leadership experience in communicating product expectations at the executive level;

    • Target driven and results focused individual;

    • Natural leader, motivator and mentor for teams;

    • Relevant Travel and Technology industry experience and knowledge of the target market;

    • The ability to understand the customer’s challenges and problems that need to be solved, and how The Clients approach will uniquely or best solve those problems;

    • Preferable Airline Commercial and Operational Experience.
