  • Responsibilities

    COLSA Corporation is seeking a Configuration Data Manager to join our team supporting the EPASS HN contract at Hanscom AFB. In this onsite role, you’ll play a key part in managing and maintaining program configuration data in alignment with the Configuration Management Plan, Air Force SEAM processes, and PMO best practices.

    • Manage configuration of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and planning/conducting design audits.
    • Provide CM of all relevant program artifacts.
    • Archive acquisition documentation.
    • Maintain CM files including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting records.
    • Convene and manage the Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Technical Review Boards (TRBs), and record approved changes and results.
    • Participate in cross-functional change control boards to evaluate proposed changes.
    • Review and analyze proposed changes to ensure operational and sustainment capabilities are not adversely affected by the changes.
    • Review the CCB membership list for currency and completeness.
    • Report the Development/Sustainment’s data delivery status.
    • Review and analyze the development/sustainment Contractor’s conformance to CDRL requirements.
    • Process Government and development/sustainment Contractor correspondence. Ensure compliance with DoDI 5230.24, DODD 5230.25, DoD 5010.12-M. DoD 5000.02-R, DFARS 252.227-7013, DFARS 252.227-7014, and ASSIST database.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    • Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience
      • Bachelors Degree (or higher) in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 3 of which must be in DoD
      • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and at least 13 years of directly related experience, 5 of which must be in DoD
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
    • Ability to work independently and with a team
    • Experience in MS Office Suite software required
    • U.S. Citizenship required; DoD Secret clearance required

    Preferred Qualifications

    • IT CM experience within the DoD environment
    • Experience performing hardware and software configuration audits
    • Experience performing the technical/administrative activities necessary to manage CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, and media labeling.
    • Experience producing release notes and CM reports
    • An in-depth understanding of the configuration change control process, the role of the Change Control Board, and change control documentation
    • Experience performing baseline administrative activities for multiple environments
    • Experience developing briefings for management
    • Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle

      o Configuration of Motorola DAC.
      o Cisco DNCS Headend equipment familiarity: QAM Modulators, QPSK Modulators/Demodulators, Application Server
      o Motorola DAC Headend equipment familiarity: RADD, SEM, OM1000/2000, RPD, KLS, CPMS
      o DOCSIS implementation: CMTS, DSG RADD, TSBroadcaster
      o CATV RF Coax Distribution: Amplifiers, Splitters, RF Switches, Combiners, Signal Level Meters
      o IP network configuration

    • Ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail.

    • Ability to work well with others.

    • Ability to travel.
